Nainital is not just tourist spot, it is also considered as a holy place by Hindus which reveals the story of Goddess Sati sacrificed herself when Lord Shiva was not invited for the yagna.  Lord Shiva got angry to traverse the universe and believed that to protect this universe, Lord Vishnu shredded the sati’s body and her eyes fell on this place. That’s why this place called Nainital (Naina means eye and Tal means lake).

Lansdowne is a very beautiful town in Uttarakhand. The place is situated 1780 m from the sea level. The Town is surrounded by thick oak trees and pine forests along with the great views of the mountain. Lansdowne is a best-known tourist spot for the British. To enjoy a peaceful holiday Lansdowne is a right choice.  Few of the tourist places in Lansdowne are Bhulla Tal – which has boating, children park, bamboo house and fountains. Tip-in-Top is one of the right places for travellers who wish to enjoy trekking with a vision of mighty Himalayas. St Marry’s Church, Kaleshwar Temple, Regimental Musuem and Garhwali Mess are other tourist spots in Lansdowne.
