A CHECKLIST FOR THE APPLICATION FOR A KOREA TOURIST VISA

APPLICANT

  • You must provide your ORIGINAL, signed passport that is still valid at least six months after the conclusion of your journey, along with a photocopy of the passport's information page.
  • You need two blank visa pages in your passport. (Amendment and endorsement pages are not acceptable to meet this criterion.) In addition, the personal information page of a key cannot be used for visa applications if it is frayed, ripped, or otherwise damaged.
  •  If you have dual citizenship, only apply using the passport's nationality shown on your Singapore Work and Related Passes, Student Pass, Long Term Pass, or NRIC for Singapore Permanent Residence.

KOREA VISA APPLICATION FORM

  •  One "Visa Application Form" has been appropriately filled out and personally signed by the visa applicant.
  •  A correctly filled and signed Health Condition Report Form from the visa application.
  •  The signature on the above documents must be manually applied and correspond to the passport's signature. Applications for visas do not allow electronic signatures.

KOREA VISA - ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

  •  If you are employed, a letter of employment from your present Singapore employer is necessary indicating the position, salary, hiring date, date of travel and purpose of travel issued less than one month.  (Request for sample from our office)
  •  A hard copy of the most recent ACRA Bizfile is necessary if you are self-employed. (printed within one month).
  •  If you are a student, you must provide a letter from your institution (refer to the attached sample).
  •  If you are a retiree, housewife, or student and your vacation is being paid for by your husband, parent, or adult child who is working, you must send a letter of employment from that organization together with your application (Refer to attached sample)
  •  If any of these people sponsor your travel, you must present the original and a duplicate of their Singapore Work Passes or Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC.
  • If your spouse is paying for your vacation, you must bring the original and a copy of your marriage certificate.
  • If your trip is being paid for by either your parent or an adult working child, you must present the original and a copy of your birth certificate.
  •  If a marriage or birth certificate is not in English, an official translation must be submitted with it.
  •  One passport-size color photo of oneself with a white backdrop that was recently taken (strictly within the past six months). The visa applicant's frontal stance must be shown in the photo, with their shoulders and heads held neutrally back (not smiling). It must be printed with a resolution of at least 600 Dpi on premium photo paper (not photocopy paper). The photo needs to be attached to the form, and there can't be any signs of tape or staples.
  •  Proof of sufficient finances to pay the cost of your vacation. Send a copy of your most recent three-month Singapore bank statement or an updated bank passbook if you are self-sponsored. If you are sponsored by your spouse, parent, or working adult child, you must provide an original bank statement or a current bank passbook in their name. In addition, the visa applicant's or sponsor's name must appear on the Internet printout of the "E" statement, and the bank must confirm it as a true copy.
  •  Original copies of the following documents: Singapore Work and Related Passes, Student Pass, Long Term Pass, and Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC with re-entry permit. To obtain a printout of the expiry status and other pass information for new Work Permits or other Singapore government-issued passes that include a QR code in place of an expiration date, you must scan the QR code. This printout must certify that the pass is valid and have the current date. You can download the free SG - WORKPASS app from the Ministry of Manpower (available on the Apple Appstore or Google Play Store) to carry out this function. Then, within seven days of the application date, scan and print the document.
  •  Transfer the status of your Re-entry from your expired passport to your new access before applying if you are a holder of Singapore Permanent Residence and using a unique key.

KOREA TOURIST VISA - PROCESSING TIME

  •  4–7 business days

KOREA BUSINESS VISA APPLICATION - DETAILED CHECKLIST

  •  You must present your ORIGINAL passport, valid for at least six months after the conclusion of your trip, together with one photocopy of the passport's information page.
  •  You need to have two leftover blank visa pages in your passport. (Amendment and endorsement pages are not acceptable to meet this criterion.) In addition, passport information pages that are torn, frayed, or otherwise damaged cannot be used to apply for visas.
  •  If you have two passports, you can only apply using the one listed on your Singapore Work Pass or Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC.

KOREA BUSINESS VISA - FORMS REQUIRED

  • One set of five correctly filled "Visa Application Forms" from the visa applicant (s).
  •  Report of Health Condition Form.
  •  Manual signatures are required on the "Visa Application Form" and the "Health Condition Report Form" since electronic signatures are not accepted when applying for a visa. The signatures on both documents must match the ones on the passport.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS KOREA BUSINESS VISA

  •  Documentation of your most recent employment. This might include a letter from your employer stating your job, joining date, a brief description of the trip's purpose, length of stay (dd/mm/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy), and financial obligation for the duration of your stay in Korea (issued within one month of the application date) (who will paying for your business trip to Korea).
  •  A printout of the most recent ARCA Bizfile is necessary if you work for yourself (Issued within one month of the application date).
  •  An electronic copy of the invitation letter from the Korean business. (Issued a month after the application date.)
  •  An email copy of the Korean company's "Business Registration Certificate" (Issued within three months).
  •  You must provide one passport-size color photo of yourself with a white backdrop that was taken exclusively within the past six months. The applicant's frontal position in the photo must be seen, and they must not turn their heads or shoulders (not smiling). It must be printed with a resolution of at least 600 Dpi on premium photo paper (not photocopy paper). The photo needs to be attached to the form, and there can't be any signs of tape or staples.
  •  Your Singapore Work Pass, Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC, and Singapore Re-entry Permit Form 7 must be presented in original form and duplicate, front and back. In addition, you must submit a printout of the expiry status and other pass information for Singapore Work Passes that include a QR code instead of an expiration date by scanning the QR code on the back of the card. This printout must certify that the pass is valid and must display the current date. Then, using the Ministry of Manpower's free SG WorkPass app, you may download it (available on Apple AppStore or Google Play Store). Within seven days of the application date, scan and print the document.
  •  Transfer the information from the Re-entry Permit from the old passport to the new access before applying for the visa if you are a holder of Singapore Permanent Residence and using a unique key.
