What do we need to know about the B1/B2 visa:

Individuals traveling to the U.S. for business purposes, such as attending meetings, conferences, or negotiating contracts can apply for B1 Visa. Some of the other activities like consulting with business associates, participating in educational or professional conventions, or settling an estate can also apply under B1 Visa.

Tourism or Medical Treatment (B2) Purpose:

In most cases, the B1 and B2 purposes are combined into a single B1/B2 visa, which will allow individuals to engage in both business and tourism activities during their stay in the U.S.

The duration of stay allowed on a B1/B2 visa differs from individual to individual. In most scenarios, individuals are granted entry for a period of up to six months in the United States, including those traveling from Singapore with a visa to USA from Singapore.
